Sorush is the denizen of Doom, and the patron denizen of both Serpaz Helilo, the Witch of Doom, and Crypthead Dionysus, the Page of Doom.

Etymology

Sorush is named after the New Persian variant of Zoroastrian yazata Sraosha. Within Zoroastrianism, Sraosha is one of the guardians of Chinvat Bridge, a bridge which all souls must go through upon death, and is the only guardian who accompanies souls on their path.
