He constantly pushed on her how Fortmistress Deadlock is her ancestor and that Taz is "lucky" to be in her current situation with everything about her planned. If Taz showed any resistance to him, he would continue pushing her and threaten violence against her.

			Pozzol began noticing [[Vilcus Cendum\|Vilcus Cendum's]] disinterest in the Mirthamaniac's actions and their worries for Taz, but his attempt of speaking to Vilcus about it further falls short, causing Pozzol to want to investigate further on his own. This investigation leads to Pozzol finding out about Vilcus' bondmate, [[Sterco Exurdo]], who Vilcus was keeping secret. Pozzol ends up murdering Sterco, ripping the heart out of the rustblood's chest and beginning to wear it around his neck.

			When Taz, covered in Vilcus' blood, comes up to Pozzol, he seems to believe that Vilcus is dead. Eventually, Pozzol agrees to let Taz out, with the condition that she will continue to listen to their demands such as sometimes coming back or doing certain requested murders.
