*by pragmaticNihilist
*Originally made for Catch 322, scrapped it was discovered that there were no plans for a Dismas-centric walkaround in the future at the time the song was made. May eventually be repurposed into a standalone track.

*"A lo-fi Spanish version of Chamber Cultist that eventually (with the help of dbnet) became Pursuit of Happiness. *Song originally meant for Vol. 3, but was scrapped due to a lack of satisfaction with the sound. Probably would have been related to Calder or Occeus.

*by Circlejourney
*Yet another Solana arrangement meant for Vol. 4 but scrapped for time and a lack of polish. It was originally titled 'Belladonna' but since we already have another song on here titled that, we gave it a sillier name to distinguish itself.

'''{{Music|minute-to-win-it-demo|Minute To Win It <nowiki>[</nowiki>Demo<nowiki>]</nowiki>}}''' (0:54)
*by SplitSuns
*"Minute to Win It was originally created as a one-off doodle I made to test some instruments out. I came across this interesting 90s-electro synth backing while working on the UMSPAF track "Home" with power464646, and decided to throw together a quick song based around it. This is the first version of that file, with the synth lead, a rudimentary bassline, and some drum loops."

'''{{Music|minute-to-win-it-demo-2|Minute To Win It <nowiki>[</nowiki>Demo 2<nowiki>]</nowiki>}}''' (1:51)
*by SplitSuns
*"An updated version of the demo file with more sections; still relatively unpolished, but I began to add more instruments inspired by 90s big beat as well as a rough outline of the guitar outro."

'''{{Music|minute-to-win-it-demo-3|Minute To Win It <nowiki>[</nowiki>Demo 3<nowiki>]</nowiki>}}''' (2:00)
*by SplitSuns
*"The final version of the demo file. I added the SFX intro (made by throwing a quick snippet of a snare drum through tape delay) and polished up the composition and instrumentation throughout. At this point I realized I had made something deserving of more work than a demo: I talked to Austin about it and work on Minute to Win It began."

'''{{Music|minute-to-win-it-no-intro|Minute To Win It (No Intro)}}''' (3:05)
*by SplitSuns
*"An alternate version of Minute to Win It without the "video game startup" opening. This was supposed to be the version of the song that made it onto Catch 322, but I felt the SFX intro was too sudden to work well as an album opener."

*"One of the scraps I offered to develop for Vol. 3 for Austin, he preferred the other one which became Sunrise, I didn't expect anything to ever come of this file but I like the sound it had."

*First of five concepts for Ellsee's Theme. One of which would eventually become Sirage's Theme in Snowbound Blood and another being the final version. This version was lost and then later found much too late.

*Fourth version of Ellsee's Theme, with the idea being that Calder sort of hijacks the track much as he tries to hijack Ellsee's role in the comic. Rejected as it didn't really seem to fit Ellsee specifically as a character.

*"A song I finished in 2015, at the end of 8th grade. This was one of the first songs I wrote entirely by myself without using Apple Loops, made on a Mac at my old middle school. It was a silly techno track that I decided to reference Showtime in just because I thought it sounded cool. Although I've improved since, the melody never left my mind: I ended up reusing most of it in Murrit's Theme years later, albeit altered and placed under a different chord progression."

'''Denizens''' are immensely powerful beings that embody the twelve [[Aspect|Aspects of Existence]]. They oversee the progress of the player that shares an aspect with them, acting as guides, creators and guardians of the [[Planets|Player Planets]] inside the [[The Medium|Medium]].

When a player enters [[The Game]], part of their entry process involves releasing their respective denizen from a paragon repository, which then allows them to follow the player into the Medium. Upon entry, each player will then have a conversation with their denizen on their entry platform, which will dictate how the generation of their planet will go. The players and their denizens will only meet again at the time for purification- With the only outliers being Jentha and Af- in which the aspectral heart of the denizen will be granted to the player and the two will merge as one.
Their direct approach and unorthodox methods stay with further updates as they structure Jentha's land to be a 'deadzone', with no quests, consorts, or enemies- Thus forcing her to have to reach out to others and progress via co-op instead. {{-}}
Snowbound Blood's visual and game design take inspiration from {{MSPAW External|Hiveswap:_Friendship_Simulator|Hiveswap: Friendship Simulator}}, much in the same way that the [[Trollodex]] serves as a parallel to ''Hiveswap''{{'}}s {{MSPAW External|Troll_Call|Troll Call}}.
== Plot ==

=== Prologue ===
Chief Regulator [[Secily Iopara]] strikes down a brownblood during an operation, giving him a message for [[Ahlina Robiad]]: She will send them as many as they need to avenge her, and she's sorry she can't join her just yet. She takes a picture of the scene to document her success to her superiors, and admits that she takes some pleasure in killing. She sheathes Proserpina, her blade, and returns to [[Repiton Corporation|Corporate]] for her next mission.

=== Volume 1 ===
Secily has been stuck onto a Priority Aleph case, the highest priority there is, and meets with [[Sestro Enthal]], corporate heir. He explains Operation Snowbound Blood to her: thieves have killed two truck drivers in the [[Northern Wastes]] and stolen only a philter of [[Zekura Raines|The Vivifier's]] blood. The precision of their work is immaculate, and they had insider knowledge to know of the secret transportation route and where inside the truck the philter was. Secily notes that this is the first time she's heard of The Vivifier in a serious manner, as she's mostly known as a fringe religious figure. Secily creates a deck of [[Trollodex|trollodex cards]] of suspects and potential allies.

She drives to the scene of the murder/burglary to investigate and is able to come to the same conclusion as Sestro, that the culprit was clearly skilled and had insider information in some way.

On her way back to Corporate, she receives a call from an anonymous person, taunting her. He says he just wants to help her understand, and that she will by the end. He ends the call with the cryptic message 'Eidolic Acres. +2.111. Two days.'

At corporate she meets with [[Hamifi Hekrix]], Sestro's matesprit and another of Secily's superiors. She reports her conclusions, and notes that Hamifi seems nervous about this case, which Secily thinks is out of character for her. She leaves, and plans out who she'll interrogate first.

=== Volume 2 ===
Secily starts her case off by meeting with [[Rypite Koldan]], whose ties with [[Skorpe]] put him on her list as it came out of nowhere and is now the dominating chat client. He has no relevant information for Secily, instead telling her about his matesprit, [[Sirage Feltri]], and giving her the card for his moirail, who he says is good at solving puzzles like this one.

As she already had Sirage on her list of suspects due to her past as a thief, she decides to interrogate her next, finding that she hasn't been at work since the wicend. Secily finds this highly suspicious, and sets out to find her, eventually stumbling upon her hungover in a park. After some conversation the two head to Sirage's office, where she admits she had a shipment on the truck that was stolen, but that it was just something she bought online. Secily coins the portmanteau 'murglary' to refer to the murder/burglary of the truck containing the philter while continuing to cast suspicion on Sirage, but eventually relents, admitting to herself that she feels sympathy for people like her, since her past is dodgy as well. Sirage mixes a cursed cocktail of whatever's on her desk, from ink to paper, and the two share a cup.
'''Clarud Enthal''', known by his title as '''The Executive''', is the ancestor to [[Sestro Enthal]] and former CEO and founder of the [[Repiton Corporation]].

==Etymology==
'Enthal', when translated from German, means 'contained'. The name Enthal may also come from the word enthalpy, a property of thermodynamic system that is the sum of a system's internal energy typically used to measure heat. Clarud may stem from the latin clārus meaning "Clear" or "Upstanding."<ref>https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/clarus</ref>

== Biography ==

=== Early Life ===
Clarud witnessed the destruction of the [[Deconstruction Era]] in his youth. Horrified by the methods of [[Alchemy]] of the time, he cultivated a society where they were deemed forbidden.{{VE|1366}} During this time, Clarud would bond with a fellow who would become his matesprit. It is implied that Clarud created an institution regarding aspects. Some time after this during the Reconstruction Era, support of Clarud cause would fade due to the their inability to use or control their aspects. Clarud's matesprit would die supposedly due to a lack of control of one's aspect.{{VE|1364}}

Clarud would be visited by [[Thesal Voorat|The Forgiven]] and [[Zekura Raines|The Vivifier]] at his house where they asked for his assistance in the hatching of [[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]] and [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]]. To ensure he lived long enough for their hatching the Vivifier extended his life with her blood.

9x sweeps later he would come to form the Repiton Corporation.

=== Before ''Snowbound Blood'' ===
Clarud was kept alive through continuous circulation of The Vivifier's blood well past the average lifespan of a troll, living so long as to meet his own descendant. This was kept secret from all of Repiton, including those closest to him. Despite his unique situation, Clarud rarely saw Sestro, instead living alone in his office on the highest floor of the Corporation's main building, scarcely seeing anybody. The only person he saw regularly during this time was Rodere, who took care of him and administered medicines.

=== During ''Snowbound Blood'' ===
Clarud's health was in continual decline, and the missing philter of The Vivifier's blood was crucial to his survival. He placed chief regulator [[Secily Iopara]] in charge of this Priority Aleph case, Snowbound Blood.

As the wices went on with no developments from Secily on the case, he called her up to his office, sensing her desire to quit. He told her everything, from the philter being real to his reliance on it to his boredom with life, and managed to convince her to stay by stressing that her life can still have meaning, unlike his.

=== After ''Snowbound Blood'' ===
Without the philter, Clarud knew he would soon die, and called both Sestro and [[Hamifi Hekrix|Hamifi]] to his office. Eventually he dismisses Hamifi, and reveals to Sestro that all of his studying on the history of Repiton was to prepare him for being the vessel of Clarud's memories. Using his Mind alchemy, Clarud implants all 144 sweeps of his memories and experiences into Sestro before he dies. From this point onward, a constructed version of Clarud lives inside of Sestro's mind, holding him back with metaphorical ropes.

==Relationships==

===Sestro Enthal===
[[Sestro Enthal|Sestro]] is Clarud's descendant. The two were on fairly thin ice leading up to Clarud's death, interactions between them panning out to be quite uncomfortable. Narration remarks Clarud as "someone [Sestro] wished [he] could have loved"<ref>https://www.deconreconstruction.com/vasterror/1433</ref> upon his death.

===Rodere===
Clarud was taken care of by [[Rodere]] before his death.

===Secily Iopara===
Clarud is [[Secily Iopara|Secily's]] employer.
